Team 1
We will spend 60 days discovering Japan for you. Our adventure begins in Sapporo on 01.05.2021 and ends in Tōkyō on 29.06.2021. We will make 2250 km by cycling only, which means that an average daily distance which we have to make cannot be less than 50 km. Three times we will have to cycle more than 70 km between stops for the night and one time we will have to make 90 km and it is the longest daily distance during that whole ride. We will have 28 hostel/hotel stops on our way and 31 times we will camp. See this map for details.
On Hokkaido we plan to climb Mount Yōtei on 06.05.2021 and Mount Tarumae on 08.05.2021. If you would like to join us, just be there during these days. We do hope to meet you somewhere on our way!
If you live in Japan, become a part of our adventure and meet us during one of our 22 meetings ("Globetrotter School" or "World of Friends") in Sapporo, Hakodate, Aomori, Morioka, Yokote, Sendai, Yamagata, Fukushima, Utsunomiya, Saitama and Tōkyō.
